Cookies and Other Technologies
As described above, we sometimes collect anonymous information from visits to our site to help us provide better customer service. For example, we keep track of the domains from which people visit and we also measure visitor activity on the PROSPECT Awards website, but we do so in ways that keep information anonymous. We use the information that we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different areas of our site, and to help us make the site more useful to visitors. This includes analysing these logs periodically to measure the traffic through our servers, the number of pages visited and the level of demand for pages and topics of interest. The logs may be preserved indefinitely and used at any time and in any way to prevent security breaches and to ensure the integrity of the data on our servers.
We collect the anonymous information we mentioned above through the use of various technologies, one of which is called “cookies”. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive. For example, on a website with a login system (if users register for it), cookies are used to save the visitor’s password so that it does not have to be entered at each new visit.

Welcome to our three new centres, great to have you on board, and look forward to working with you on our future learning journey together
Centre management for Prospect Awards is based upon the use of our Cloud-Based Centre Management Service Plaza. It is the key to ensuring your quality assurance requirements and ours meet effectively to support your learning journey. These events are usually done on a 1-1 or group Webinar basis over the telephone or by Google Hangouts, or by using our E-Learning Centre our Moodle School here.
An introduction to assessment for assessors who are new or who require an update on assessment methodology and perspectives as we employ them at Prospect Awards. In this session, we look at assessment, effective assessment and evidence. We examine different types of evidence and how they can be effective for different purposes. We look at some issues regarding individual and group-generated evidence and how different types of evidence can be useful within a learner portfolio. We also look at using an example of how On-Line e-assessment can be used for some learners and we show who you can access that via Prospect Awards.
An introduction to managing Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) for Prospect Awards Qualifications, Customised Courses and endorsed Programmes. This is an event for those responsible in a centre for either Internal Verification, Internal Moderation or Internal Examination, we bring these under the banner of Internal Quality Assurance. We look at the key aspects of IQA, assessment direction, assessor support, evidence gathering and checking of assessment decisions and sampling. In this session, we will also look at how an E-Portfolio can assist your learners and assessors in their learning journey.
Technology Enabled Learning (TEL) provides the level of continuity of service to support your work when you need it. PLAZA our cloud-based Centre Management System and registration and certification bring the management of your centre to your desktop. We aim to support our work in Governance in similar fashion
- For registered charities, and medium to large groups and organisations who have a need for a robust governance system, we have partnered with Creatio Green to bring you Creatio Governance. A cloud-based governance, risk and compliance management system that is customisable to the regulatory regime you work within.
- For smaller voluntary and community groups and community sports organisations, we have ClubBinder which brings together the flexibility of a web-based system that links to a Learning Management System that supports the sustainability of your teams and committees.
- For small organisations who require a Free system, then we can help. Registered members can set up a Group at Prospect Dialogue. Prospect’s networking site, where if you wish you can set up a private group that only your members can participate in. You will also have access to the open forums for discussion and help and of course our HelpDesk, where we will always be ready to help when we can.
- We can also support the set up of Google Docs and Drive and similar Free services.
Working hard in the background with Creatio Green our partners in this venture we are delighted to announce that our Turn On! Day for our innovative Registration and Certification service is the 26th October.
On the 26th October, you will be able to access our Qualifications and Courses, develop your own and register your learners and after successful External Quality Assurance, managed via PLAZA, you will be able to claim certification for your learners!
A seamless point of contact and service! Learning for Everyone – Everywhere
