How to offer a Prospect Awards Qualifcation?

Prospect Awards offers Prospect Qualifications, Customised Courses and Endorsed Programmes. (Click on the links for information on these) You need to be an Approved Centre to offer any of our Accreditation.  To become an Approved Centre you need to go through an approval process.  To do that please go to our Customer Enquiry Form and give us some basic details and we will contact you to take the application forward. Once you have become an Approved Centre you will go through an Approval Check to offer Prospect Qualifications, Customised Courses or Endorsed Programmes.  Once you have gone through these checks you can then register and certificate learners (subject where relevant External Quality Assurance.)

What is a Community Interest Company CIC?

Why were Community Interest Companies needed? Social enterprises are an exciting and fast-growing sector. Yet some of the legal forms were originally designed for completely different types of organisation. The Government has supported the sector by creating a modern and appropriate legal vehicle and to help raise their profile. What does a community interest company do? Community interest companies (CICs) are organisations pursuing social objectives, such as environmental improvement, community development and inclusion, fair trade, support services etc. Social enterprises are playing an increasing role in regenerating disadvantaged areas, empowering local communities and delivering new, innovative services at local level, and the growing range of CICs reflect this. Who are Prospect Awards CIC?

Prospect Awards CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC).  A CIC  is a type of company, designed in particular for social enterprises that want to use their assets for the public good. Prospect Awards was set up by Anna, Sarah, and Brendan with Gary as an independent Chair in 2015 to provide Accreditation, Governance, Community Development and  Learning services and support for, business and communities. How to become a Prospect Awards Centre?

You must first go through a Centre Approval Process to offer prospect Qualifications, Customised Awards, or Endorsed Programmes.  You need to contact us –  the fastest way – complete the Customer Enquiry Form on this page!  or email us at HelpDesk@prospectawards.org or telephone us on – (+44) 028 7946 9404 in each case you will need to give us some basic details – this will include your name and email, so we can send you back some important login details to PLAZA our Centre Management Service (The next step!) We will follow up this enquiry with you by a telephone call or/and a visit so we can help to sort our any questions or queries.   You then Login-In to PLAZA and you begin the next part of your learning journey there.
